2026臺中國際花毯節以「甜點王國」為主題，攜手三麗鷗明星打造歷年最具規模的花卉盛典。
結合臺中甜點文化與花藝設計，將城市特色化作繽紛花景，邀請旅人走進充滿想像力的夢幻國度。
園區以七位三麗鷗明星為主角，打造七大主題展區，串聯明星特色、花藝景觀與互動體驗。
今年更打造高達19公尺、創下歷屆新高的主花毯，以甜點城堡為設計概念，結合歷屆最多的機械動態、煙霧泡泡與雪花特效，
呈現前所未有的沉浸式花卉藝術饗宴。

今年同步推出大型互動裝置「巧克奇境」，融合觀景平台與室內鏡面花毯，可遠眺山景、俯瞰花毯，也能走入由真實花卉營造的鏡面萬花筒，
在光影、花卉與鏡像交織的空間中，展開充滿驚喜的探索體驗。

花毯節持續深化永續共創理念，自2023年推動至今已邁入第4年，與東勢、新社的孩子及長輩共同創作，以一朵朵花、一件件作品記錄地方世代共學、共創的珍貴歷程。今年的成果將於「巧克奇境」展出，與盛開花卉共同構築充滿生命力的藝術場景，也見證一群幼兒園孩子從入園到畢業，與花毯節一同成長的珍貴故事。
15年來，臺中國際花毯節以花為媒介，串聯文化、觀光、藝術與地方情感。2026年，透過三麗鷗明星、臺中甜點文化、創新花藝設計與永續共創，展現臺中的創意能量與城市魅力，共同迎接15周年的璀璨綻放。
The 2026 Taichung International Flower Carpet Festival presents "Dessert Kingdom", the largest flower carpet festival in its history, in collaboration with Sanrio characters. Centered around seven themed zones, the festival combines Taichung's renowned dessert culture, floral artistry, and interactive experiences, inviting visitors into an imaginative fantasy world.
This year's highlight is a 19-meter-tall main flower carpet—the tallest ever created for the festival. Inspired by a grand dessert castle, it features the festival's largest collection of mechanical performances, enhanced with smoke bubbles and snow effects to create an immersive floral spectacle. The large-scale interactive installation, Choco Wonderland, combines a viewing platform with an indoor mirrored flower carpet, where visitors can enjoy panoramic mountain views and overlook the flower carpet before stepping into a kaleidoscopic world created with real flowers, light, and reflections.
The festival also continues to deepen its commitment to sustainable co-creation. Now in its fourth year, the initiative has brought together children and seniors from Dongshi and Xinshe since 2023. Their collaborative creations will be showcased in Choco Wonderland, celebrating shared learning across generations and the meaningful journey of growing alongside the Flower Carpet Festival.
For 15 years, the Taichung International Flower Carpet Festival has connected culture, tourism, art, and local communities through flowers. In 2026, the festival showcases Taichung's creativity and charm through the Sanrio characters, Taichung's dessert culture, innovative floral design, and sustainable co-creation, welcoming the spectacular celebration of its 15th Anniversary.
