活動理念
臺中國際花毯節是全臺灣最受矚目的花卉盛典，今年裝置設計以卡通頻道的《飛天小女警》為靈感，將備受喜愛的動畫元素與花卉藝術結合。
本屆花毯節，我們特別打造了歷屆規模最大的主花毯，高達18米、直徑60米，其中以魔人啾啾的基地為裝置的最高點。主要裝置每日每半小時自動展演一次，融合泡泡與水霧效果，搭配機械動態，營造奇幻氛圍。此外，現場多個藝術裝置將呈現飛天小女警的角色，像是花花、泡泡、毛毛、尤教授等，以及動畫中的經典場景。
在追求藝術創新的同時，我們也積極實踐在地與永續精神。本屆花毯節邀請超過300位來自新社、東勢的長者、孩童及居民共同參與花卉創作。市府也再度整合「中臺灣農業行銷展售會」，匯集包含臺中總計8縣市的特色農產品，打造中臺灣最大的農產交流平台，旨在帶動地方產業與觀光經濟。飛天小女警限定主題館，販售超過兩百種商品，其中包含與在地小農合作開發的水果禮盒、DIY香菇太空包等。更重要的是，活動結束後部分花卉將回歸社區與學校，實踐「共享、循環、再生」的核心精神。

The Taichung International Flower Carpet Festival is the most anticipated floral festival in Taiwan. This year, the design of the installations is inspired by Cartoon Network's The Powerpuff Girls, merging elements from the beloved animated series with floral artistry.
This Flower Carpet Festival presents the largest main flower carpet ever — standing 18 meters tall and spanning 60 meters in diameter, with Mojo Jojo's Lair as the tallest point of the installation. The main installation comes to life every 30 minutes with automated performances that combine bubble and mist effects with mechanical motions, creating a fantastical atmosphere. In addition, multiple artistic installations showcase characters from The Powerpuff Girls — such as Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup, Professor Utonium, and more — as well as classic scenes from the series.
While pursuing artistic innovation, we also actively practice local collaboration and sustainability. This year's festival invites over 300 elders, children, and residents from Xinshe and Dongshi to co-create floral works. The city government has once again integrated the “Central Taiwan Agricultural Marketing Expo,” bringing together specialty agricultural products from Taichung and seven neighboring counties, forming the largest agricultural exchange platform in central Taiwan, aimed at boosting local industries and tourism.
The Powerpuff Girls limited-time pop-up store features over 200 products, including fruit gift boxes and DIY mushroom kits co-developed with local farmers. More importantly, after the event concludes, many of the flowers will return to local communities and schools, putting into practice the core spirit of “sharing, circulation, and regeneration.”
